Bandersnatch is REAL- ish
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.forb ... orrow/amp/
Great trainler for the brilliant Black Mirror series-
Theres a speccy in the trailer and all manner of speccy related goodness.
It’s on Netflix and apparently you have to choose what happens via the remote. Bit like an updated Fighting Fantasy.
Anybody watched it yet?

Bandersnatch is available on Netflix now:
"In 1984 a young programmer begins to question reality as he adapts a dark fantasy novel into a video game. A mind-bending tale with multiple endings."

Re: Black Mirror: Bandersnatch
I cancelled mine, but will have to do something about that. My mind's on the new Poirot in half an hour first!
I've got some catching up to do here.Rorthron wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 8:09 pm There is a downloadable .tap file (Nohzdyve). I haven't tried it yet.

Can anyone download that? If I hover over the link, I can see a .tap at the end of it, but it's only possible to download a .html... (even with 'Save Target As')

I have the .tap. Tapped on the link in Chrome for Android.R-Tape wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 8:29 pmI cancelled mine, but will have to do something about that. My mind's on the new Poirot in half an hour first!

Re: Black Mirror: Bandersnatch
Now the whole Nohzdyve webpage has disappeared!
Re: Black Mirror: Bandersnatch
Ta, got it via mobile.
Still there for me.
This could be an interesting ZXDB entry! If anyone can help us regarding distribution permissions could they get in touch...
Re: Black Mirror: Bandersnatch
Bandersnatch will not work on Chromecast or Apple TV:

Re: Black Mirror: Bandersnatch
Yep. It's a challenging descending game by gasman!
There's some unusual code in here, and I wonder if it relates to the black mirror episode (still need to watch it). The crafty bugger even included some rudimentary antihack measures.
Ahem :

Re: Black Mirror: Bandersnatch
I watched it this morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. The choice system is simple but works really really well. I’m going to watch it again to make different choices.
It’s a superb nod to the speecy era and well worth a watch.

Re: Black Mirror: Bandersnatch
I'm back on Netflix's books, and have nearly used up my broadband for the month. It was well worth it.
I suspect that a substantial portion of the Black Mirror audience will feel alienated by the retro theme, and find it too experimental, but for the everyone else—holy ****ing sh*t! That was amazing!
I hope a 'making of' gets released.

How many Spectrums were harmed in the making of this?
