Re: Manic Pietro
Bloody well done, this looks incredible.
Gah! I can only view this on mobile until tomorrow.
Small typo in the intro: "strange", not "extrange" smell.

Some Screenshots
Re: Manic Pietro
And some from the classic levels, if you're brave enough to unlock them
Re: Manic Pietro
Great stuff!
I like that you didn't make a copy of Manic Miner but instead created a lot of new levels with inspirations coming from different games.
By the way, how do you complete Level 2? I have to jump to collect the last coin and then I fall down close to exit but not touching it and lose a life.

Re: Manic Pietro
You are doing yourself a disservice to call this a remake of anything!
Re: Manic Pietro
I know that I post the same response each time I see an utterly brilliant multi-colour game done for the speccy, but, can you imagine how this would have been received in the 80s?!!!!?!?!?!?
Not played it yet, but, it looks stunning.

Re: Manic Pietro
Ralf, there was a bug on level 2 (a last minute fix that screw it...). It was reported also by Javier Quero, here's a lil bugfix version.Ralf wrote: ↑Sat Feb 23, 2019 4:38 pm Great stuff!

Re: Manic Pietro
Level 2 had a bug in it which is why I couldn't complete it.Ralf wrote: ↑Sat Feb 23, 2019 4:38 pm Great stuff!

Its now been fixed and the download link in my video has been updated.

Re: Manic Pietro
This is great! Up to level 8 so far. The graphics are fantastic and the difficulty is just right I think once you get used to how to time the jumps.
I've noticed Spectaculator for Android crashes sometimes after the game ends, presumably this is a problem with Spectaculator rather than the game itself (it doesn't do it on Fuse for Windows, haven't tested it on anything else yet)
Good work chaps!

But it works on others emulators and a Real machine.
Maybe someone can contact the author, I've mail them but without success.
Re: Manic Pietro
Great game—the ZX-Dev comp is spoiling us again! I didn't get into Gandalf so much, but this one is right up my street. Well done Cristian!
My version of Spectaculator (8.0 on Windows 10) doesn't show the multicolour. Weird. I thought it catered for that.

Bah! What's that got to do with anything
Re: Manic Pietro
It works for me, are you using the correct Spectrum model? When I played it before the colours were wrong because I accidentally had the Pentagon selected.
Nice game, I got to level 2 playing the non-bugfixed version but I'll try to get further with the new release.

Re: Manic Pietro
Aye, yes please.
I can grab the game files myself, but if you want to make new .scr and .mlt then please upload them.
Taa.
Re: Manic Pietro
Congrats! You've been busy.
I've never heard this saying before, where does it come from? All I found was that you shouldn't eat swordfish when pregnant!
Re: Manic Pietro
I think he's referring to the 'swordfish' picture that appears when you complete Manic Miner without using the level skip cheat. It was probably a reference to this originally.
