Judge Dredd, the recovered version, not in SC database?

Post by Ivanzx »

Hi fellas, by accident ended up in the Judge Dredd gam entry and was surprised not to see it available, as it was recovered some years ago :)

Here is the entry:

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 6&id=11820

Thanks in advance, Peter, Dave and Dario :)

Spooky! I was looking at this just last night because I was trying to see if there was ever a Ricochet re-release of the Melbourne House game like there was on the C64 (there wasn't, apparently... or at least I couldn't find any signs of one).

Anyway, just thought I'd add a link to the original WOS post from gorski:

Yes, it isn't here. Just like all the other stuff preserved by Gorski.

I'm not sure what would be the proper action here. Grab files from the links and upload them here? Contact Gorski?

If someone wants to collate the judge dredd files that need adding in the correct format (read here viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1592#p22591) then please email a zip of them to me (though no hires scans sorry, I don't know what to do with them). No need to fill in the spreadsheet, as it's mia, not umia.

Sorry guys, I don't have time/headspace to keep on top of both brand new software and older mia/umia too.

Please also include the hires scans. I will find a way to deal with them.

Thanks!

OK, I did some work on Judge Dredd.

I resized the graphic files to rational size, created screenshots and renamed the files acoording to the standards here (I hope ;) )

You can get it all here:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/rxb9lx

RTape, would this be okay for the database?

For people interested in getting original, huge files, they are still under Gorski link here:
http://forest.no-ip.org/wos/jd/Judge%20 ... isk%5D.rar

and here's the original topic:

Ralf you star! Thanks a lot. The next update is going to be a good one.

Almost spot on! :D (.scr renamed to 0011820-load-1.scr, and the .dsk zipped as JudgeDredd(SideA).dsk.zip)
