MIA: Spectrum Games (Compilation) - JRS Software

Whether it's Mire Mare or a BASIC tape you found in the attic, it needs to be preserved digitally. Post here and experts can help to do so.

MIA: Spectrum Games (Compilation) - JRS Software

Post by Frankie »

Perfect TZX of this compilation:

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 6&id=12258

As I write in the notes its called 'Spectrum Games' not 'ZX Spectrum Games' :)

Full Title: Spectrum Games
Year: 1982
Company: JRS Software Ltd
Re-released by:
Author(s): Chin & Paul Osborne
Type: Compilation
Message Language: English
Upload includes: Perfect TZX of compilation, Inlay scan, photo of tape.
Source: From original tape
Filetype: TZX and JPEGs
Reason for Upload: MIA
Note: Think this entry should be renamed to 'Spectrum Games', and replace 'ZX Spectrum Games'. No mention of ZX being included in the title. Think the ZX can go in the other two MIA compilations in this series aswell.

Some information added on Facebook by Paul Hurd:

"There are different releases of this title and the first inlay versions (orange AND Red paper inlays with no picture) DO have "ZX Spectrum Games"."

So should be:

Full Title: ZX Spectrum Games
Also known as: Spectrum Games

The main reason I wanted that lot, as its the only way Airport '82 was released. Not a great game, but somehow I just had to have it in my collection. Brings back memories :)

Why hasn’t this been added to the database yet?

Because R-Tape is in charge of adding titles to ZXDB but he's currently too busy preparing WOOT for Christmas.

You can expect a really huge ZXDB update in about a week...

Yes as Einar explained, and as I explained to you some weeks previously in an email.

Well, as the entry was so old, I thought it had slipped under the radar :D
