Whatever happened to the Minertron?
Whatever happened to the Minertron?
There used to be an online Manic Miner message generator called the Minertron. I can't seem to find it anymore, anyone have a link? It may no longer exist, if that's the case I don't suppose anyone has the knowhow to create such a thing?

What did it do, exactly?

Re: Whatever happened to the Minertron?
It was an online GIF generator, you typed in two messages and it created a MM style loading screen for it.
Re: Whatever happened to the Minertron?
It seems simple to implement, if the output is an SCR file.
But the number of letters that fit on screen is probably really small 4 to 5 at most, given the limitations of producing letter with full char sized "pixels."
Then there are tools to convert them to GIF.
P.S.
I have something different, that generates a kind of scrolling, but it's not ready for public consumption just yet.
In due time, it will surface
