Review Roundup

Post by RoseTintedSpectrum »

Hi all,

It's been a while since my last roundup session so here's a new one.

Spectrum Reviews

Aliens: Neoplasma
Rockstar Ate My Hamster
Motos
Pedro - (Fair warning: sweary)
Moley Christmas
Escape From The Planet of Robot Monsters - (Arcade, C64, Spectrum and Amiga comparisons)
Kwik Snax
Green Beret

Thanks all
x

A very nice bunch of reviews indeed. Cheers!

I feel that Motos is underappreciated. Your review just prompted me to fire it up for the first time in years, and it's still a brilliantly playable game -- I love it as much now as I did back then. I suspect I'll be playing it all night now. Must. Get. Past. Level 7...

I thought I was doing really bloody well until I realised the .tap file had a trainer built in for infinite lives. I think I'm going to have to dig out the original arcade title at some point as I've never gotten round to playing it and I would say Motos was in my Top 25 Spectrum titles as a kid.

Motos is awesome. Just don’t waste your power-ups prematurely.
