It's pretty good once you learn how to control your character and how to use his transformations.
Yeah, that’s something I struggled with. How do I use the keys on doors? Also, I can’t seem to be able to land on the second floor as a vampire. I can fly up there as a bat, and then, once I transform, I fall through to the first floor. Bummer.
That's because this vampire was distracted when they teached how to land on the second floors, at the bat flying course. I tried again and again too, but you just can't. The old stair-climbing method is the only way.
So, how do you get past the trapdoors on the second floors? With the other available transformation.
As for opening the doors, it's just up+fire, IIRC. Of course, you need the right key.

This is a really high quality game, and the release date reminds me that me & friends caught the speccy right at the end. Don't know exactly where, but it's somewhere in my top 10. I fired it up a while back 'just to remind myself' and ended up playing several levels (it's relatively easy to make progress). I don't know exactly why, but you can really picture yourself as the sprite.
Amazing graphics, even though it dares to use the ROM font!

I never got to grips with the rotate and move controls. Good game though, especially with 2 players.
Atmospheric horror movie license with horror multiload and frightening difficulty level.
86% in Your Sinclair, 83% in MicroHobby (5 Estrellas), 78% in Crash, 70% in Sinclair User.
edit: just watched the video walkthrough. It's one of the very rare games that gives you satisfying graphical sequences each time you accomplish an important task and when you finish the game. A certain effort has been put into the game.

Extremely playable race game.
Been playing Alien Syndrome this week. Even though it's a well-known game I never got into it. It's less polished, but more playable than I imagined.
Can't get past the first boss though—it's rock hard! I nearly got it using the flamethrower, but that meant I was in close quarters and lost my last life when it exploded.
