Straight away, off the top of my head, Batty springs to mind and that could be my possible vote. Then there's the absolutely spot on Bubble Bobble, which I'm also considering for my vote.
It's an incredibly easy game, but Bruce Lee was massive fun and I've been playing it a lot recently.
Oh and now I've just thought of Back To Skool which really is a strong nominee. Then there were those 10 million Batman licenses that Ocean put out.
And just to ensure the budget labels get a bit of representation, what about Codies's BMX Simulator?
Here are my contenders so far...
- Back To Skool by Microsphere
- Batman (1986 - Jon Ritman's isometric 3D game) by Ocean
- Batman : The Caped Crusader by Ocean
- Batman : The Movie by Ocean
- Batty by Elite
- BMX Simulator by Code Masters
- Bomb Jack by Elite
- Bruce Lee by US Gold
- Bubble Bobble by Firebired
- Bugaboo The Flea by Quicksilva
Remember these are for the classic games - commercially released into the mainstream, so no demos or homebrew stuff in this.
