Do we need to see this big "phpBB" on the top all time when browsing the forums?

Is it technically possible to replace it with Spectrum rainbow or any other nice custom logo?

The current set up is the phpBB default. When the dust settles the plan is to change the header and overall look of the forum to something more Spec-friendly.

Great.
Id like to suggest, if possible, that we have slightly larger letters, these are currently pretty tiny.
Also, in the Recent Topics section, if we can see, not only the name of the current topic, but also the name of the latest user posting.
This sky blue color scheme is good, and you can keep it that way. :)

By the way I like general look of the forum too - blue, calm and unintrusive background, grey buttons, lack of these ugly avatars from another forum ;) which you had to have whether you liked them or not ;)

Very simple but neat and elegant design. Something that I've grown up with and something that every forum should look like that.

Zoom your browser to 120%. Helps a lot... :)

A member of the SC Development team is working on a replacement for the standard phpBB logo and a few other tweaks. There will not be major changes to the design as it means more to manage.

Tried yesterday, but lost Recent Topic window on the right side.
Now, after being moved to the top of the page, the zoom option becomes useful again. :)

Could it also be set up so that it links to the forum index rather than the website homepage? Every other forum I use does it that way so I keep hitting it on autopilot and getting confused :)

There are a few minor issues with the current logo that I'll fix when possible.
But for now it works well enough

As for sizes, you can't please everyone! It's small here but large on the main site :D

The logo has been tweaked. Thanks to 4thRock for this.

We also found a way to make the logo link back to the forum homepage and we will implement this once tested.

We won't be changing much else, as it makes it harder when doing upgrades.

Clicking on the logo at the top of the page now takes you back to the forum home page. The Navigation also starts at 'Forum home' now.

This does mean that there is no link now back to the SC Home page, but we can find a solution for that.

Thanks to Ricardo for spotting this fix.
