I wish they realised that people who played with these back in the day, now need bigger screens!

I've just checked the date to make sure it's not April 1st!
If you buy all 4, you get a free magnifier so you can actually see the screen!

Looks as if it's a McD's Happy meal toy. Nope, don't want one, can't see the screen.

It's a real missed opportunity. The Game Gear was great, the only problem was the 6 AA batteries would barely last 1 and half hours.

If they made it a decent size with a chargeable battery and 20-30 games I'd be all over it.

I know it came much later but the GameBoy micro had an incredibly bright and sharp screen, and the internal power lasted a long time. The GBA versions of Yu Suzuki titles (Space Harrier, Out Run) look brilliant on it.

Although it was trumpeted as a hand-held SNES it was much more powerful; things like Mario Kart were vastly improved by lots of scaling trackside trees instead of just the flat Mode 7 floor. There were even some textured 3D stuff including a passable attempt at the Playstation hit Driver (if your game combined the low poly-count of N64 games with the blocky warping textures of a PS1 you could almost make it).

Shame Nintendo decided to scrap it in favour of the DS before it barely even made it to the shops.
