The boxer in street fighter 2 was supposed to have been called Bison and looks like Mike Tyson

Yes, many Street Fighter characters are inspired by some real or fictional person.

I remember reading somewhere that dude in loading screen for Trantor is copied after... Jon Bon Jovi :)

Images work fine for me. In fact the Conan the Barbarian art looks like one of Oliver Frey's denied Crash covers.

I think the problem is with Chrome. The images work fine in Firefox and Edge. Chrome seems to be blocking vgy.me: it even blocks the URL when typed in the address field: "You cannot visit vgy.me right now because the website uses certificate pinning."
