I've noticed Sirwood lists an intro screenshot instead of its original loading screen.

This is the correct one: https://zxart.ee/release/id:297516/mode ... rintro.png
It's tricky... because it isn't a re-release but it is authorised. It's a completely different reverse engineered version of the game running on a totally different engine using completely different code; created over thirty years later. The graphics and text might be similar but the code is completely unrelated. WOS did not have a consistent policy on this but I would argue it needs a linked, but separate entry.+3code wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 9:58 am I think this

It seems very unlikely; unless, of course, they used the PAW's font editor to create the fonts.PeterJ wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 8:47 pm From Paul Collins via email:

Buttercraft's "ZX Big-Shot Typeface Machine Codes" is listed as having been created with the PAW (Professional Adventure Writer) -- that can't be right for a font utility, can it?
From ZXDB incremental file "102_zxdb_UTF8.sql":PeterJ wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 8:47 pm From Paul Collins via email:

Reading about "Tu Micro" hereEinar Saukas wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 8:17 pm Cassette Juegos is currently identified as compilation instead of covertape, as if this tape was sold independently by magazine "Tu Micro".
However most games included in this tape are marked as "originally published in a covertape", thus implying that Cassette Juegos is actually a covertape included in a magazine issue.
Does anyone know if this is a covertape or not? If so, then what's the magazine number that included this tape?
Well, I think it can be only a compilation, the instructions show the magazine numbers for each program and really all in this tape looks so.Einar Saukas wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 4:17 pm Thanks!
I also saw this text before, but I could not see any indication that Cassette Juegos was sold independently. Did you conclude this because there's no explicit reference to any specific magazine number?
Also the instructions transcription reference different magazine numbers for each program, and each one of these programs is currently marked as originally released "on magazine covertape" (except the last one). However the text about "Tu Micro" seem to indicate programs were published as type-ins, instead of covertapes. What's the correct information?
The magazine no, but the type-ins are preserved here:Einar Saukas wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 4:17 pm Finally does anyone know where to find magazine scans? Perhaps @Neil Parsons?
This link confirms that these programs were originally released as type-ins.+3code wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 8:49 pmThe magazine no, but the type-ins are preserved here:Einar Saukas wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 4:17 pm Finally does anyone know where to find magazine scans? Perhaps @Neil Parsons?

We have it listed as Eunuchs' on CASA but to be fair, it is AKA The Eunuch's Ball as that's the way the Spectrum and Amstrad version were sometimes advertised, in their Adventure Workshop versions....PeterJ wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 8:51 am Another grand spot from Paul Collins
The apostrophe is misplaced here: the game itself gives the title as "The Eunuchs' Ball"
The listing currently has the apostrophe before the 's'.

Thank you. I wonder how we should approach this as the screenshot for the game definitely show the apostrophe at the end of the word, but the documentation you provided shows differently. I'm inclined to match the screenshots and CASA, but no strong feelings either way.8BitAG wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 9:26 am We have it listed as Eunuchs' on CASA but to be fair, it is AKA The Eunuch's Ball as that's the way the Spectrum and Amstrad version were sometimes advertised, in their Adventure Workshop versions....
I've seen Phillip himself refer to it as "The Eunuchs' Ball" so that is probably the correct, intended title.
See my last minute edit to the post, which shows the cassette tape.PeterJ wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 10:04 am Thank you.
