8 - reinvent the wheel?
Again, it's good, but unfortunately it's not right. :/
Not an "official" clue, and this might seem a bit obvious, but it's necessary to know what the thing to the right of the wheel is, and knowing what game it's from will help a lot.
I can't tell if it's some sausages, some turds or a bloke relaxing in a chair...

Total shot in the dark: Right side of the tracks.
One of those is correct (not the shot in the dark though, unfortunately).
Is it that famous British phrase 'Wheel turd green arrow'
or is it 'Feeling like a right turd wheel' from this excellent description:
"When a person is using a public washroom and the occupants in the stalls next to them are having a conversation that they are not included in. The person excluded from the conversation is the turd wheel."

Last shot and then I'm off for the weekend. Is "Choosing the right wheelchair” an English expression..?
Possibly, but it's not the answer unfortunately.
A couple of clues:
- I was in two minds about including this one as it's not really a "saying" as such. Like the "Manic Monday" one, this is also a song title.
- The thing to the right of the wheel is a bunch of sausages.

We'll Meet Again... or should that be "Wheel Meat Again"?
Dame Vera will be spinning in her grave so fast that you could tie her to a dynamo and run enough Spectrums all at once to max out the Interface 1 network, and still have enough spare capacity for a Commodore Bread Bin with a 1451 disc drive that runs so hot that you could fry eggs on it.

She'd be fine! Obviously a specchum.
