I'm a little confused by this ZXSR review for The Cricklewood Incident...
https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/zxsr.php?id=18952
It says it's from "COMPUTER & VIDEOGAMES ISSUE 31, MAY 1984"
...but this is the C&VG issue 31 review, as far as I can see...

Which is different. Where did the ZXSR review come from?
It would be very useful to know as, as far as I can see at the moment, it's the only place where a Spectrum (and BBC) version of the game is mentioned. Without the review, I'm still searching for evidence that a Spectrum release was even planned.

Aha, it's from here...
https://archive.org/details/computer-an ... page/n165/
The line-split "Crickle-wood" was making it difficult to find.
(to be fair, the ZXSR has the page number reference right there.)
That is the *only* reference to a Spectrum version of the game that I can find, though. So I'm guessing it probably never ever got released (and probably didn't even get developed).
