Too minimalistic for That's the Spirit, I'm afraid.

Actually, you're not too far away. It's a text adventure.

It's Grim Up North: The Adventure
You are walking past a factory. It is covered in soot and has some graffiti scrawled on it saying something unrepeatable about Margaret Thatcher.
A man in a Norf FC shirt says "Ay oop".
You see: a half-eaten kebab.
Exits are: North, South, East, West, Down.
S
You go south.
The man in the Norf FC shirt jumps on you and kicks you repeatedly in the head. He is very angry at your choice to go south, because he decided this means you support Souf FC.
You are dead.
You scored: 0%.
Spectribution: Dr. Jim's Sinclair computing pages.
Features my own programs, modified type-ins, RZXs, character sets & UDGs, and QL type-ins... so far!

No.

The best clue I can give is to modify TMD2003 's guess: "It's Grim Up North - The text adventure". I feel like that's almost giving it away. It's pretty well known.

I think there were wolves in Fairlight II, not sure if there were any dogs...

Pobulous is correct, it's the doggy from Pyracurse.

For some random reason I recognised the slightly stiff art style, despite never having played the game or thought about it for decades!
I even remembered the name and publisher without having to go look!
Weird the way some stuff sticks in your mind, innit?

Anyhow, how's this one - from another game that randomly popped into my head that I don't think I ever played.
