People are still making stuff for the Sinclair related machines. Tell us about new games and other software that runs on the Spectrum, ZX80/ZX81, Pentagon and Next.

Speccy Pong

Post by Ralf »

New game was recently submitted to ZX Dev Conversions Compo. It' made by Julián Urbano Muñoz, is called Speccy Pong and is a clone of guess what... Pong :)

It' certainly not a game to play for hours (unless it was a year 1973 ;) ) but give it a go. Actually it's fun to play against computer for a moment. It's possible to win and game may surprise you (or CPU) with ball getting suddenly ultra speed.

Try to win. You play up to 15 points.

Yep! :)

This is one of the best Pong ever on the Spectrum, with a reasonable amount of options, a good AI in the computer and the possibility of playing 2 players, too :)

It's very Very good.
I do like the way that own goals can be scored.

It has a Pete Cooke (Room Ten) presentation feel to it.
