I'dd add something common in some good isometric games like HoH or Phantom Club: a 'monotone' map where most screens look similar and where it's easy to lose your way.
Hence I prefer games like Knight Lore or Alien 8.
Yep, I never really enjoyed any of those games either. I suppose Firelord was slightly better with it's little game when you entered a building, but even so it was all about wandering about looking for stuff. Yawnsville
I think Atic Atac is the exception. Despite it being on multiple floors - or perhaps it's because each floor feels a bit different - I learned the map quite quickly. I found after about 3 goes I could find my way around the house with just a mental map.
At least in real life you don't keep having your stuff nicked...Juan F. Ramirez wrote: ↑Thu Dec 23, 2021 3:06 pmBut I think is the good point of this game: you're in a dense forest and everything looks similar, so it's easy to get lost.
That and the fact that the game is rubbish.MatGubbins wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 9:45 pm Amourite - You can only fire one.. poxy... slowly.... bouncing..... bomb...... at....... a........ time
