Someone was on the sauce all day ??

I'm sooo excited, and i just can't hide it...
I'm about to lose control...
And i think i like it...

MERRY CHRIMBLES YA FILTHY ANIMALS.
I don't have anything cool to put here, so i'll just be off now to see a priest with yeast stuck between his teeth and his friend called Keith who's a hairpiece thief...

Buon Natale! Merry Christmas!

And here is my contribution, my pitoni al forno. The pitone (or pidone) is a typical Messinese street food, a pastry stuffed with tomatoes, anchovies, escarole and tuma (a soft Sicilian cheese) garnished with olive oil, salt and black pepper. They can be baked, as I did, or deep fried. Best served with the local Birra dello Stretto.

Enjoy! ;)

Looks amazing Alessandro. Can I have mine without the anchovies please? I had to look up escarole though, and found it do be similar to Endive which is more common (although not popular) over here.

Actually I made them yesterday evening for Christmas Eve's dinner. By the way, we don't eat chocolate for breakfast here, usually slices of soft bread or rusks with jam, marmalade, Nutella, honey etc. After my trip to Argentina I also like to have soft bread with dulce de leche. When you are not at home it is common to have breakfast at a bar with a cornetto and coffee or cappuccino.

PeterJ: I hope that too! Escarole, or scarola (Italian)/scalora (Sicilian) is a kind of endive in fact, and you can use it if escarole is not available. Actually some here like pitoni without anchovies too, so it won't be a problem. Deep fried pitoni can also come with anchovies but without tomatoes, since they are supposed to have been invented before tomatoes were grown in Europe in the 16th century.

To be fair there's no custom of adults having chocolate here (porridge for me), but kids cram their faces with it!

Looks like it's another food thread. For the first time ever, I'm unexpectedly on my own this year (and quite happy about it, and it's not because of the pingdemic). Making a Seitan Roast. Wish me luck!

You can’t beat a Knight Rider themed Xmas jumper. If I look a bit rough it’s because I’ve got the obligatory Xmas cold

Happy Christmas one and all

Me too. Although I'm finding a mix of Day Nurse and single malt whisky is making me feel better.

Excellent jumper!
