The best classic Speccy game beginning with I: discussion
Right, the H poll doesn't end until around 10am UK time tomorrow, what with me having started it a day later than usual. Meanwhile, trying to get back to the proper pattern, here is the I discussion thread and we'll start the I poll this time next week.
Pretty sure this is the first letter we've covered where no games in the WOS Top 100 begin with it, hence this fairly short, er, shortlist...
I Ball by Firebird
Ikari Warriors by Elite
Impossible Mission by US Gold
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis by US Gold
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade by US Gold
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom by US Gold
Inside Outing by The Edge
International Karate by System 3
International Match Day by Ocean
I, Of The Mask by Electric Dreams
It's Only Rock 'n' Roll by K-Tel Productions
Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart's Super Off Road by Virgin Games
...but of course, it's up to you to add more.
(And yes, I know It's Only Rock 'n' Roll is barely notable in the Spectrum's history what with being an obscure BASIC pop music management game from 1983, but seriously, this would be my vote. Better than the other two games in its genre - The Biz and Rock Star Ate My Hamster.)

I'd add the great Into the Eagle's Nest, one of the best Gauntlet games, and Impossaball, a game I love a lot.

Iron Lord
It's a game set in medieval times made of many smaller minigames like archery contest, sword duel, fighting a battle in strategy mode, wandering in the maze etc. It had a chance to became a classic like better known Defender of the Crown but failed here and there. Yet it's still an ambitious project standing out of the crowd.

I'll try to survive.
Re: The best classic Speccy game beginning with I: discussion
Yes, it's today's update while we are on the brink of WWIII.
Re: The best classic Speccy game beginning with I: discussion
I really like The Ice Tempe back in the day.
Ingrid's Back (follow up to Gnome Ranger) was a typically excellent Level 9 adventure game.
Looks like this 'i' list is going to pretty short compared to other letters.

Yeah, there are a few good games there but one of them stands out a bit for me so it won't be too tough a decision...

As to I Of The Mask by Electric Dreams, I think it's a weird game. Technically it's an outstanding game from 1986 (I didn't see something similar, a sort of a moving first person perspective, till 10 years later, when Tomb Raider was released) but it's boring as hell!

Oops. Just seen this post! Nice of you to mention me, Juan! To be totally honest, I tend not to do screens for games that already have one as it's not in my interest to discredit the original artist. If it were a very basic loading screen with text or something, I would've considered it. For example, Road Frog, Kong and The Pyramid.
