New game: Sam Mallard – the Case of the Missing Swan (Game Boy)

Sam Mallard on the Game Boy is a re-imagining of my old Spectrum 48k adventure. It's now more akin to a point-and-click game rather than an illustrated menu driven text adventure. The script is somewhat rewritten and it's got a couple of new locations and puzzles, though it's still on the short and easier side. If you liked the original, then perhaps this might be of interest as well.

I've played a little bit so far. The graphics are very nice. Interesting that it's quite different from the spectrum version, I wasn't expecting to be able to walk about.

Had an IPS installed in one of my DMGs a couple of months ago. Fantastic piece of kit. Although I've had some temporary image retention if a game uses flicker (for transparency, etc.).

Yeah, I wanted to try something like a point-and-click (walk-and-click?) this time around.
