I solved the adventure on the Next. Not too difficult, but atmospheric and good for beginners and veterans alike.

The new graphics do a lot. They aren't perfect but are definitely on the good side.

This is how it looked before:

Lovely tribute to John Wilson in one of the pics - nice touch!

Only just seen this, looks very good. Will give it a blast later. :)

Although fractionally off topic it is pleasing to see its available for many other platforms too.

I have finished it few days ago. I have to admit I played the web version, simply for sake of convenience. And the game is not bad. As far I can judge, writting is good, puzzles are are logical and not very hard. Probably best thing about Rabenstein is how streamlined story is, it has good pace and it is not very long. It took me about two hours to finish it.

I was going to mention that Balrog/John Wilson Easter egg but I see 71owl beat me to it!

I really like the graphics. Very stylish. My favourite screen was the library very near the end: it even changes when you

The whole thing is very fast and responsive and attractive. Engine-wise, probably the best text-based adventure experience I've had on a Spectrum.

Beautiful graphics. One of the best-looking text adventures ever.

I finally got around to playing this. I'm glad they released the 2022 version - it's a well crafted text adventure, but those graphics are a real treat and bolster the atmos even more. I'd describe the puzzles as fair rather than easy, because I mostly felt safe that I wasn't going to end up wandering in circles having overlooked something. The authors must have spent ages thinking of all the angles and giving the player 'the nod' at the right time.

Fantastic work, and I'm pleased to have completed another text adventure!

How to start DivMMC version of the game ?
For some reason, it gives me "Error 138" with latest LFN browser and esxdos on zx uno.
Older version from 2020, works just fine.
