Microprose Gunship overlay question

Hi,

Can anyone remember if Gunship came with two keyboard overlays? I ask because I bought a copy of the game from ebay and it's really in good condition but lacking the overlay. I did manage to find the Spectrum overlay for Gunship but it was for the Spectrum Plus.

Was there an original Spectrum 48k keyboard version of the overlay?

Have you looked at the additional downloads section @SteveZX81. There is an overlay, but I'm not sure if it's what you want:

Thanks but that's the Spectrum plus overlay.
at this point I'm not even sure if there was an overlay for the normal 48k Speccy but why they'd leave it out, not sure.

My copy only has a Spectrum+ overlay that lays above the keys.

When I saw the title of this thread, it reminded me that when I used to play Gunship, I put bits of cling film on my TV, so I could draw lines on them. I can't remember what or why exactly, maybe for the artificial horizon dials.

As no scan of a rubberkey Spectrum overlay is on WoS or on Mobygames, I guess there simply wasn't any in the box. I think Microprose said the overlay fitted on the Spectrum+, 128 and the +2/+3 models so they had an overlay for the majority of models.
