This is good fun (no surprise as it's from Zosya) - it falls somewhere between Mario Kart and Road Rash...

Have got as far as Germany (stage 4) so far, though I'm sure that's mainly through luck as I'm pretty bad at driving games...

It feels like it uses either same or a similar game engine to Travel Through Time.

Yes, it's the same engine used on Travel Through Time. I asked Natasha Zotova yesterday on Facebook, and she confirmed it.

Great game! Smooth, pretty looking, addictive and funny.

When Travel Through Time was released I commented that the engine is stunning but the game is too long and a bit tedious and repetitive.
So now we have the opposite, not very long but very entertaining little game with lot of action going on.

I have also completed it, with some saves ;)
If you are struggling with it, here are some tips how to play it:

You play with left, right, up (accelerate), down(brake) and fire(turbo button). Using properly the turbo is essential for good gameplay.

At the bottom right you have a "turbometer". It's empty at the level start so you can't use turbo yet.
You fill it by bumping into other cars and obstacles at the road sides.
When it's filled fully or partially you can use turbo button to go faster. Keep the button pressed as long as you want to use it.

It usually only makes sense to use turbo when you are already at full speed. Otherwise you will waste it.

Now there are two types of other drivers, "nameless" drivers and drivers with a name and a picture.
Nameless drivers are easy, you just pass them, even without turbo.

Drivers with a picture will fight you with different types of attacks and usually the only way to pass them is to use turbo.
Try bumping them not at the back, because it slows you down but at the side to collect some turbo.
Also learn ways to avoid their attacks.
Then use turbo to leave them behind you.

You can also collect turbo by hitting things at the road sides. It is usually not worth it as it will slow you down a lot but try
it with arrow signs.

Hope it helps somebody. Try the game, it's worth it!

Hi

Zosya Entertainment has released the physical edition for Rubinho Cucaracha on their webshop, Having into account the war and all its consequences, at the moment this release is sadly addressed to Russian customers only.

I do really hope that they'll continue making Spectrum games.

If you check these Facebook Spectrum groups sometimes, then you probably saw some weeks ago their unfinished projects.
They decided to show them to the world as their future became uncertain now.

It was some really high quality stuff. It would be a big loss if it wasn't finished.

Absolutely, Natasha Zotova shared several pictures/videos and information about nearly 20 ongoing projects on FB. Most of them are simply amazing. When she posted them, I especially liked LAB7, Juggernauts, Zodiac: Aries, Sci-Crime, Shamshinur, Sano Tuuli and a few others. Even those in the early stages of development seem very promising.
I have high hopes they will continue producing new games for the Spectrum. This year we are noticing the absence of more Russian productions and especially Zosya's.
