Once we run out of ideas, I propose... a further advent calendar of Christmas Next sprites! (Or tiles, they're defined the same way.) Father Nextmas will be delivering them soon, after all (and those on the continent might have theirs already). One set of 8×8, one set of 16×16, and that should get the creative roast turkey juices flowing. (Or roast whatever horrible substitute all the vegetablists will be eating instead, which doesn't have any juices.)

Why do I say this? Because that candy cane needs red and white stripes, and you'll not be doing that on a Spectrum UDG.

Yeah, it's hard to imagine Xmas without either of them!

@TMD2003,

We could also get multicolour 8×2 characters using the NIRVANA Engine from Einar. There is also a version of the Russian machines (I believe) so we aren't excluding anyone. It's up to @R-Tape though.

I reckon we can see the year out with festive UDGs Next tiles in a separate thread sounds a good idea to me too though.
