App to play zx spectrum games
So I'm trying to use a app called play zx from Google play store, to use it, you connect your iPhone to your spectrum by useing a jack phone cable. My problem is the games will not load, so has anyone a solution or even a different app I can use that works. ( really want to use it, as its a brilliant idea )

Re: App to play zx spectrum games
So found a youtube video of what to do. I'm useing a +2A zx spectrum, the app ( PlayZX ) or ear jack does not work for/through the +2A, for a +2A to work you need to use a tape adapter connected to your phone.

The +2 and +2A/+2B do not have “Ear”/sound inputs (Ear as in the naming of the connectors on the Sinclair made models), they only have sound out connectors. Unless they are modified, the only way to get sound in to them is to use a cassette tape adapter, as you have found.
