Gameshow with videogames (mid 80s)

Post by Bolton80 »

Does anyone remember an 80s gameshow that had videogame challenges? I remember it having the vault from Hypersports and also some custom games where you control a cat (NOT Bubsy). Please tell me I'm not going mental!

Blimey! That's a blast from the past and a show I remember watching.

Is the skateboard bit 720 Degrees? I don't remember that bit but it has been decades since I played it. I take it they used arcade versions for that and Hypersports?

I only remember it for watching them playing Hypersports and Paperboy, and getting irrationally angry at how rubbish the swotty contestants were.

Another videogame gameshow I liked was "Steal" from 1990

...presented by Roy "it's good, but it's not right" Walker's son. It runs in the family.

Steal's games must have been ST/Amiga jobs. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!...?

Looks like my memory combined First Class and Steal into one show. I remember both now. I wonder if the games from Steal were ever released?
