yep plus something biblical
Re: Using A.I to recreate ZX Spectrum loading screens.
Good try bug it is meant to be the last scene of the game
Re: Using A.I to recreate ZX Spectrum loading screens.
This guy looks like something between Jesus, Poseidon, Prometheus and SamsonA guy, a girl, and some chains...
I don't recall a similar Spectrum game.
Re: Using A.I to recreate ZX Spectrum loading screens.
Yes, second picture definitely suggests the Biblical story of Samson and Delilah, but surely there isn't a Speccy game about that?
What about the huge red heart? Was this an AI hallucination, or is it a clue to the game? I love this thread.
Stormlord?? That had a beardy guy, rescuing girls, with a sword (maybe the AI turns it into scissors, because we aren't allowed weapons).
If this screen had been sent to me, I would say "can we have less Hugh, and more Hugh-SON". Yuk-yuk-yuk, I'd chuckle, while replacing the extremely heavy "car phone" and settling back in my now even more valuable 1980s Ferrari.

Good try again as Stormlord has a lot of flying hearts too. Scissors are ai hallucination. Its the voluptous woman who rescues her imprisoned partner. Im afraid the english version in different
Re: Using A.I to recreate ZX Spectrum loading screens.
I just asked an AI what game it could be, and the best suggestion was "Game Over II" a.k.a. "Phantis" (which is not an English game, and does indeed end with a girl rescuing a guy, although it's small sprite graphics and not a full screen).
If this is correct, I will post the entire AI conversation, so you can see how we got there. If not, damn

That's correct!! I feel cheatedequinox wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 11:42 pm I just asked an AI what game it could be, and the best suggestion was "Game Over II" a.k.a. Nice DD. What wording did you use to get that comic art style?
Re: Using A.I to recreate ZX Spectrum loading screens.
Whoa! That's scary. Yes I'd like to know more about that chat @equinox.
Re: Using A.I to recreate ZX Spectrum loading screens.
I didn't mention art style. My prompt was "a two panel comic, with the face of a 1950s soldier in a green uniform wearing a peaked cap in the left panel, and the face of green alien with a large forehead in the right panel."
CLEAR 23855
Re: Using A.I to recreate ZX Spectrum loading screens.
I tried another one. It gave me 4 choices and I couldn't chose, so you get all four ... but I suspect even the worst would've been enough

Seen from above, a mole dressed in a aviator outfit climbing into a biplane placed in the foreground. he is dropping photographs. In the background a policemen is approaching from a police car.

Mutant Monty On The Run.
EDIT - dammit that should be Auf Wiedersehen Mutant Monty!

Here is the conversation. You can see that the AI "hallucinated" a bit and gave obviously wrong answers at the beginning, but it gradually got there.

A game that needs a very accurate description is Zorro. I made some tries (both in spanish or english), but AI shows a fox (the spanish for 'zorro'), with a sword , a hat, in black, but still a fox!

That's nothing like Zorro!
More like Blue Thunder, maybe?

I'd guess "Cyclone".

Did you use the word 'cyclone', or 'interdimensional vortex'?

The long way home.
Love it.
Love it.
Re: Using A.I to recreate ZX Spectrum loading screens.
Given the label the game was released by, I'd have thought "Vortex" was implied.SteveSmith wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2023 10:38 pmDid you use the word 'cyclone', or 'interdimensional vortex'?
