I'm not really active much elsewhere online so I thought I might as well try here (not least because there's an outside chance it's videogame-related).
I recently found some old photos of myself from the late 1980s -- probably 1988 or 1989. I look so ridiculous in this particular photo that my wife turned it into a WhatsApp sticker and now regularly uses it to mock me. That's fair enough: I am, after all, wearing a waistcoat with a leopard-print lining, corduroy trousers and a boater hat (and I’m SO mortified by that fact, even 35 years later, that I’ve cut my head off here). I’d have been about 18 or 19 at the time. I was not good at fashion. Anyway, whatever... I find myself fascinated as to what the logo/design might be on the hideous T-shirt I’m wearing. Does anyone recognise it? I have literally no idea but perhaps someone here will instantly know what it is…
Help me identify this T-shirt logo?

Re: Help me identify this T-shirt logo?
That certainly is some snazzy dressing! As for the curious design, I'm not sure that actually is a logo.
Today, branded clothing is huge, since manufacturers know that branding a garment adds perceived value to it (even if it's a faux brand). So today our brains expect to see two types of printed t-shirt: large decorative prints that make use of the full space, or small branded graphics. Small is always a brand. However, back in the 1980s, printed t-shirts were still relatively new and (like videogames) didn't necessarily follow modern conventions. Maybe small decorations were a thing? The image seems to be a pink rose framed within a circle within a diamond, which seems to me someone's idea of t-shirt decoration.
Plus there's the fact that there appears to be no text. Now sure, the big, highly recognisable brands like Nike can get away with just a graphic, but for most brands, you'd definitely expect some kind of text to identify the brand. Moreso for a smaller brand with low public awareness. So I could be wrong but I'm guessing this isn't a logo but a decoration.

Sure… all good reasoning. I suspect ‘logo’ was the wrong choice of word on my part. Perhaps it is just some generic decoration… but I’m still curious if anyone recognises it.
(I fear a lot of my clothes shopping back then was conducted at Mr Byrite - for real!)
