Colour Beyond Time 2

Post by Jbizzel »

Image

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

I’m no more your mother
Than the cloud that distills a mirror to reflect its own slow
Effacement at the wind’s hand.

All night your moth-breath
Flickers among the flat pink roses. I wake to listen:
A far sea moves in my ear.

thank you!

This one is a bit experimental, and smaller in scope than the first game. I wanted to experiment and try some different ideas out. It picks up immediately after the events of the previous game and covers Anna's escape from the lakeside.

I have a third game in mind that follows on from where this one ends, which would be a bigger game, like the first one.

Nice arty build up, however bleak it may be. I played at least part 1 of CBT1, but I think I've got a bit of catching up to do.

It can be fully played in the browser on my Itch page. Probably the best way to play it. I got some really nice love from some non retro people in to text adventures.
