Lords of Time is probably my favourite text adventure on the Speccy. Very little in the way of 'adventure sins' (dead ends, bizarre vocab etc.) and eminently completeable.

I thought the Silicon Dreams adventures were the best in terms of story, but Return To Eden is just too clever for its own good with some of the puzzles. As such, I've given the third spot to Lords of Time, which is well regarded for the clarity and logic of its puzzles.

Yes, but it was published by Rainbird as part of their short-lived publishing deal with that label. These are just the Level 9 self-published titles.

Interestingly, everybody seemed to have Red Moon in their top 3 but no one had it as their number 1.
