Re: Turdle ZX
It's not faithful to Wordle in that it allows the input of non-words, but it's a really good engine and it looks great.
I'm also finding the scatalogical words harder to guess.

Re: Turdle ZX
Great game, but it's a shame that it doesn't display the correctw ord when you get it srong.

Re: Turdle ZX
The only thing I missed on the game
Re: Turdle ZX
I also wish it had included the correct word at the end, but still, I gave it a bash, here
Re: Turdle ZX
its only 200 bytes to large for a faithfull 16k, if the words are not compressed in the file
i like the jump load and if you have a continiuous screen plus program your done aswell directly hitting 16k !! it will overwrite the loader

Re: Turdle ZX
Original Wordle checks if the word that you entered is correct.
So it involves keeping a big dictionary of words.
Here you can type anything.
It's not better or worse. It's just a slightly different game, requiring a different strategy.

Very entertaining indeed! Great game.
Is there a Trd format available at all?

Re: Turdle ZX
Yup, it's just a silly request I did on a whim because of the TRD file extension. But in all seriousness, I do think that if there's any game that deserves a TAP to TRD conversion, this one would be it. The file Turdle ZX.TRD would look good in any collection of Speccy games
