A complete unknown and uMIA sprite generator

Whether it's Mire Mare or a BASIC tape you found in the attic, it needs to be preserved digitally. Post here and experts can help to do so.

A complete unknown and uMIA sprite generator

Post by Neil Parsons »

I have discovered among many tape files in my hard disk, from a big amount of archives found in a CD-ROM Spectrum Compilation made by USA-Soft long time ago, a sprite designer utility that's not archived here, neither at WOS. Even using advanced search under "Utility: Graphics" and "Utility: Visual/Screen" tags, Infoseek shows nothing at all. This file is simply called "SPRITE_1.TAP" and there's no opening screen detailing some data, like full title and publishers.

The TAP file contains the following block list:
1- BASIC loader: "generator" AUTOLINE 3 (20528 bytes)
2- Bytes: "gencode" CODE 47164,5632
3- N. array: "gspri1" (1288 bytes)
4- Bytes: "gspri2" CODE 56052,9472
5- Bytes: "gspri3" CODE 23307,256

No idea who made it, all texts are written in English and its year of release (maybe mid-80s) is totally unknown. If someone has seen this tool before, some help is needed to identify it.
