1. Cyclone - has to be really, it's close to perfect
2. TLL - Another stand out title
3. Hate - So many of the others could easily be third place, but this probably just about beats them

Another controversial view by me is that I really wasn't a fan of Alien Highway or Highway Encounter!! They looked great, but I just found them far too annoying to br fun.

Same. Never got anything from them apart from frustration.

1. Cyclone. I probably played this one for weeks.
2. H.A.T.E. I never got the hate for this game. Technically brilliant too.
3. Highway. Lovely game, but should be played with a poke.

Too good to leave the rest alone.

4. Android 1 and 2. They were both fun to play. Spent a long time on those.
5. Deflektor. Nice colourful puzzler.
6. Collision Course and Revolution. Really nice looking games. Unfrotunately they suffered from that one big problem.

I haven't really played the other 2 games so I can't really comment on them.
But I can say I consider him to be one of the best.

That said, where is Alien Highway again?

Alien Highway was created by Mark Haigh-Hutchinson, who ported Highway Encounter to the Amstrad CPC and wanted to make another game from the same engine.

Aw, phew, I was panicking there, thinking I'd screwed up and it not being pointed out in the discussion phase, but your explanation is that 'ah, yeah' moment!

It's quite similar to the situation in the Matthew Smith poll when Jet Set Willy 2 was brought up.

I can still remember the music to Deflektor! Catchy tune. I heard the ST version last year and decided it wasn’t as good.

I love Highway Encounter (by far the best game I ever bought for the Spectrum), but Android Two and Cyclone, which were "lent" to me (cough, cough) by a friend, were (along with Atic Atac) the first games that really showed me the magic of the machine. I'd be happy to see any of these win.
