Compilations/covertapes that contain denied titles

Does ZXDB provide a way of marking compilations and covertapes that contain denied titles? Should this site suppress download links for such compilations and covertapes?

Just wondering because I've stumbled upon some covertapes like this that have download links on this site. I won't reveal any details here, but site admins can PM me if interested. :)

No takers?

Reason I ask is that I'd like to use a couple of these covertapes from this site in the t2sfiles project - to extract a couple of (undenied) games that don't seem to be available elsewhere. But if policy dictates that such covertapes shouldn't be available for download, then I won't bother.

I'm currently on vacation. Would it be a problem to postpone checking this issue for a couple weeks?

Although denied is 'not here, go away' which is fair enough , to my own mind it leaves a bit of a quandary:

> Should a denied compilation be removed completely because of this

or

> Should it exist minus the 'denied' content ?

I can (Again imo) see both reasons. The slight disadvantage of removing it completely is the 'allowed' titles might have small updates given the fact they are later releases, such as a different interesting loader and/or perhaps bug fixes (thinking +2A/B and +3 compatibility)

I realise its not a subject for discussion this is not my point of the post. :)

IMHO we should have both.

An "edited" version available for download, clearly marked as such.

An the original full version preserved in ZXDB but kept unavailable. In case any denied title is liberated later. Or the copyright expires...
