Devfinitive Edition (Ian Weatherburn): discussion

Post by PeteProdge »

Eight Speccy games from Ian Weatherburn, all for Ocean, US Gold and the original incarnation of Imagine:

Alchemist by Imagine
Hunchback - The Adventure by Ocean
Leader Board by US Gold
Leader Board Tournament by US Gold
N.O.M.A.D. by Ocean
Neverending Story, The by Ocean
Super Cycle by US Gold
Zip-Zap by Imagine Software

...unless I've made a mistake (in which case let me know), these will be the poll this time next week.

Neverending Story, The by Ocean

Has to be, one of the best games on the speccy full stop!

Leaderboard is quite good too.

That, and Hunchback The Adventure are eyebrow-raising anomalies in Ocean's output, because they're the only text adventures put out by Ocean. A label that's really not known for delving into that genre!

They never continued with them, hence the lack of Robocop - The Adventure or Batman - The Adventure.

I'll be contrary, but I ended up really enjoying Zip Zap.
Alchemist was also fun, but too short.
