Devfinitive Edition (Paul Holmes): discussion

Post by PeteProdge »

Since learning of Paul's passing this past week, I thought we should turn attention to his ZX Spectrum games.

Bomb Jack by Elite
Bomb Jack II by Elite
Dustman by Timescape Software
Frank Bruno's Boxing by Elite
Grand National by Elite
Tapper by US Gold
Wild West Hero by Timescape Software

Now, about the issue of Robotron: 2084 by Atarisoft, or rather the NON-ISSUE of it. Yes, it exists, but was never commercially released. It attracted a lot of attention from Stuart Campbell's praise of it, and was eventually put out here on them internets. I don't think it should count in this poll as such, but am still open to arguments from 'the defence'.

And of course, any corrections to the rest of the shortlist!

Missed the discussion window, but there's a strong chance that Paul was involved in 911TS, as it uses the same engine as Grand National.
