Chaos: The Battle of Wizards - Online!

Post by andyh »

Hello chaps,

This is my first time posting on this forum as I wanted to pimp out the game I've been working on for the past month - a remake of sorts of the Spectrum game 'Chaos'. There are likely to be bugs, and there's no audio yet, but here's a YouTube video of a game in progress:

WOW.

The greatest computer game of all time on any platform, seems to have gotten a worthy upgrade.

Great minds think alike - I released my own remake of Chaos just a few months ago so it could be played across the internet: https://stephensmith.itch.io/complete-mayhem . Is there a download link to check it out?

Ah cool, I recall ages ago Steve was doing an online version of Chaos.

I didn't realise that one had been released and now there's two :dance

You can't have too many Chaos remakes! Surely it must be the most remade game of all, by quite some way.

I've posted a very alpha build here: https://github.com/andyherbert/chaos/re ... .0.3-alpha

Feedback is appreciated, if you encounter a bug (and there may be a few!) I'd appreciate knowing how to reproduce it.

Maybe we could organize an online championship... (just for fun - to avoid cheaters :) )

I will finish last (always played with 3+ wizards to win the computer).
