Hi @thealfest, great job with the mod! It's now so much better than the original, which was already a nice game. I love how smooth and fast it is. The map screen is great. Very well done!
One of the best things IMHO is the AY music. This improves the game a lot! Did you create the tune yourself? I believe the full game takes hours to complete - if you needed more AY music for different levels I would be happy to send you some!

The tune is from original 128k version, made by great Rob Hubbard.
It would be great to have longer and more varied version of it.

Oh no wonder the music is so good - Rob Hubbard is a legend and I love his music!
I'd definitely like to try and help with the music. The C64 version of the tune is over 4 minutes long - almost twice as long as the Spectrum version. I'd like to recreate the long C64 version of the tune. I can also improve the drums to give it more "punch". I'll start working on it and show you the work in progress so you can see what you think.

@Lee Bee Actually SID tune is very similar to AY one. I would like something more like remix\inspired by, like in the official modern remake:
One tune 7 or more minutes long.

No problem. I like the music in the remake. It's more modern and cinematic. I'd like to try something like that, with lots of variation so it doesn't get boring.

A small suggestion, but how about updating the girl's hair to look a little more Japanese and more like the cover art? (I changed her body slightly too.)

Improved performance of 128k version (it is now 6 times faster than original on average at max speed).
Made some demos that visualize some of my optimizations. Spectrum Analyser is great tool for such things.
It helped me to find a bug (caused redundant rendering) that I thought I had fixed.
