Indeed! They're both pretty addictive, and Mutant Mushrooms has all the hallmarks of a classic Deathsquad game.

Is anyone here in touch with davey? I have some DB questions for him.

I'm here pal.

I've been trying to track down a few people on the Spectrum scene but most of them have seemingly disappeared.

Looking for some music and advice on using the new Next hardware upgrades from 48/128 machine code.

Hello! PM sent.
Looking for some music...
@Lee Bee is an active AY musician (and in demand!), and I don't know if he's available, but @djnzx48 is another ace musician.
...and advice on using the new Next hardware upgrades from 48/128 machine code.
Maybe something @TMD2003 can help with, and there's a Next subforum here.

I had a look on the WoS forum which was the go to site a few years back for advice but there doesn't seem to be much happening on there nowadays.

Yerzmyey and FrankT used to help me with the music but I haven't seen anything of them on there.

Looks like this is the place to be now.

Regarding the Next, I was wondering if you could use NextDAW to write AY music that could be ported over to the 128?

I'm considering writing my own tunes but I dont want to buy a copy and hunt down a PS2 mouse if its restricted to the Next only.

I'm a bit disappointed with the Next to be honest as all it really provides me with is the opportunity to test games with an old school joystick on the telly.

Anyway, I have a few more unfinished projects in the pipeline that would have never seen the light of day were it not for the arrival of the Next so its not all bad I suppose.

Me too, don't be a stranger, let u sknow whan you release stuff... I like the art style and chunky sprites you use.
I don't have anything cool to put here, so i'll just be off now to see a priest with yeast stuck between his teeth and his friend called Keith who's a hairpiece thief...

Erm... really? To do any machine code on the Next, I'd really need to first find out how to access all the other banks. Pretty much everything I do with machine code is screen manipulation, and playing around with banks 9-11 isn't going to be trivial.

Which reminds me, I must get back to my next Next project...
Spectribution: Dr. Jim's Sinclair computing pages.
Features my own programs, modified type-ins, RZXs, character sets & UDGs, and QL type-ins... so far!
