multiloading games and 48k/128k modes

Post by marenja »

ZXDB contains these tags for extra loaded sections
multiload in 48K
multiload in 128K

It is obvious that game has some levels when we see "multiload in 48K". It is possible to conclude a game has single loading in 128k mode if it is tagged with "multiload in 48K" but not with "multiload in 128K" - in case that last tag was not skipped by mistake. Is a tag for marking single loading in 128K mode worth adding?

Some games have incorrect information
Space crusade, Heroes of the lance, They stole a million, Skate Crazy - none tag is set. I know these games are multiload for 48k but I have no idea if they are single load in 128k. And there will be some ambiguity if i add "multiload in 48K" tag only.

Tag combinations for multiloading now
1) 48K - tag missing, 128K - missing - this is a game without additional loading or tags were not set
2) 48K - tag present, 128K - missing - this is a game with additional loading and it should load only once
3) 48K - tag present, 128K - present - this is a game which will load multiple times in 48k/128k mode
4) 48K - tag missing, 128K - present - this is a strange case, but probably this game is 128k only

It is not clear what exactly situation is for one only tag in cases 2 and 4 - was tagging correct or was there a mistake? Adding second tag "single load in 128k" which is exclusive with "multiload in 128K" will make situation clear. If multiload in 48K tag present without any pair for 128k mode - multiload/singleload - this will point to incomplete information.
