Re: 2 demos
Nice!
I'm entering the three demos into ZXDB: 'Unlimited Bobs', 'Music Time' and 'Parallax Demo'.
I couldn't find the release date for 'Unlimited Bobs.'
Do you know anything about it?

Re: 2 demos
Just in case if someone doesn't know - "unlimited bobs" is a very well known, classic demo effect.
It's actually a clever but simple trick which doesn't require much CPU power:

Re: 2 demos
I will ask Nuno Cardoso.
Re: 2 demos
Hi all,
Nuno here.
Thanks for heads up André.
I can't tell the exact date for the 'unlimited bobs demo', but from the order of the source code files on the tapes I have, it seems to be at the beginning of 1991.
It's true that it's a very simple effect, and it doesn't use much cpu time...but that's only true on machines with hardware switchable buffer screens (like the 128k has)
On the 48k, with a masked sprite on top, to have full frame rate, you need all the cpu time you can get...and from I can remember from back then, it was a very tight fit!
Cheers!
