Please could anyone give me a simple overview of this system including programming?

I found a link on the Fruitcake site (scroll to the bottom of the page), but it's dead and not saved on the Wayback machine. Thanks

I'm particularly interested in this title:

Thanks in advance

For the game, see also

For the details on how hires works, this site is a bit more readable (apart from the ASCII diagrams) ;-)
