Is there any application for creating/modifying microdrive images - .mdr (Windows x86/x64)?
With ZX-Blockeditor and mdrview it is only possible to view ready images.
The latest ZXDB database update will be applied today at 1530 BST. The site goes down for around 30 minutes whilst this happens.
.MDR Editor
Re: .MDR Editor
Spectaculator can generate a new, unformatted .MDR image. That's a start.
Spectribution: Dr. Jim's Sinclair computing pages.
Features my own programs, modified type-ins, RZXs, character sets & UDGs, and QL type-ins... so far!

Re: .MDR Editor
Yes, I'd like something like ZXBlockeditor for MDV files—that would be very useful! (In the meantime I mainly use Fuse).
For working with snapshots (.SNA, .Z80) @TomD has created Z80onMDR.

Re: .MDR Editor
This looks very promising:
https://github.com/mattsteeldue/zxmdr
It's in Perl. The Perl interpreter is installed by default on most Linux distributions. If you don't have it on Windows, you can install Strawberry Perl.

Thanks, I'll look into it. It'll give me an opportunity to get to see Pearl a little closer.
