Sinclair-related Cambridge sights?
So I have a few hours to kill in Cambridge tomorrow, before going to see a show. I'm probably going to stop by the Centre for Computing History for perhaps the third or fourth time, because why not? And I'm going to have a pint and a polite brawl in the Baron of Beef, because I've not done that before. But where else could/should I go play eye spy (on foot) for Sinclair-related nostalgia?
Thanks in advance!

At least gawp at what used to be Sinclair Research's front door opposite King's College.

Heh. As it happens I’m sat right outside King’s at this very moment, just resting with a coffee! I’ll see if I can find where you mean…

Off to the Baron. What do we think Clive would’ve drunk? A best British bitter?

I went for a cheap, low-strength mass-market IPA, because that somehow felt appropriate.
Drink’s nice enough but the pub’s a bit soulless.

I don't think I've been in the Baron of Beef since my student days, and most likely when the year still started with 19. It wouldn't surprise me at all if it's been "updated" for MODERN AUDIENCES.

The last (and well, only) time I was in the Baron Of Beef, it was quite dull, albeit there was a barman in drag, what with it being Halloween weekend. Thankfully, it didn't feel like a soulless chain pub, but it certainly wasn't a stand-out 'must see' place. Just a very generic old pub that I visited solely because of the Sinclair heritage.

Maybe you can go (edit: could have gone) to that park and do a quantum leap yourself

Don't forget 25 Willis Road, home to Sinclair Research once the money started coming in, and now the Sinclair Building of Anglia Ruskin University.
