I seem to remember it had a pretty decent tune and the backdrops looked rather impressive. I also remember being quite crap at the ski jump.

I know it's got no chance of winning but I've always found Winged Warlords quite a fun little game.

World Games was the first game starting with a W that came to mind for me. Not because it was the best game, but I remember playing it a lot as a youngster. Probably due to having spent so much money on it at the time, as opposed to it being brilliant.

Wriggler!

Not sure how many of these have been mentioned, but these I think still stand the test of time!

When they were released I loved...

World series baseball (2 player)
Whole new ball game
World class leaderboard

But of these, I'd probably only now return to A Whole New Ball Game.

For me it would be Wacky Darts or Wriggler....or Way Of The Exploding fist....or Where Time Stood Still, such a strong list of contenders.

Wild West Hero - noisy chaotic shoot em up that has been criminally overlooked here

Played Wriggler a lot, Way of The Exploding Fist was great fun, Wizards Lair also

Wheelie was impressive but it annoyed me to have to trundle at tediously pedestrian speed to conserve fuel. It would have been more fun if less realistic if top speed was most fuel efficient.

A good letter.
Wriggler also was a big player for me. Never did win the race or complete it.
Wheelie is one of those, what i would say, a true classic, but the decision still tough.
Someone mentioned W.A.R., that game fascinated me, as i recall it was a vertical scrolling shooter? Really liked that one. Very tough.
West Bank too was great fun, loved blasting the piles of hats for extra money.
Wizards Lair. The better mans Atic Atac.
Wizball was great if you got off to a good start, lots of luck needed on that one.
Wanted Monty Mole. One of the very first games i got, sits alongside Wheelie as a true classic...
The War of the Worlds. Oh man, never did get far in this one, but just reminded myself about it and now i want to play it again!
