Oh OK, it's Melbourne House's Penetrator - now with support for Fuller joysticks, and a bugfix so it doesn't crash when tape errors occur!

I just look back to this Utility-Source-Code from 2018. Maybe it most likely it won´t work with the two code blocks (one normal and one headerless) which are in the .TAP-File of this Game. Maybe I find some spare time to try it myself...

I tried the Windows Utility "ZX ROM Cartridge Creator v3.8.0" from: http://www.fruitcake.plus.com/Sinclair/ ... r_ZXC1.htm, but not yet was able to create a running IF2-ROM (the resulting .ROM loads, but than it don´t accept any keyboard input anymore. Most likely because of this, which is written on the Utility´s website:

PC-based emulator snapshot files (.Z80, .SNA and .SZX) allow the majority of 16K, 48K and 128K cassette based software titles to be converted into ROM cartridges. For most efficient results, the snapshot of a 16K game should be taken on emulated 16K machine and the snapshot of a 48K game taken on an emulated 48K machine.

The only thing I´ve done yet is creating a .Z80-Snapshot-File with selected "16k Spectrum"-Machine. Download: https://forum.tlienhard.com/phpBB3/down ... p?id=17745

I'm sure it is possible, but as the game isn't directly available from SC or WoS then I wouldn't convert it.
Maybe now the game is older, it can be hosted on SC?

Honestly, I don't know why the game is not hosted on SC... The game is not on sale, and is available for free download from the official website - https://www.zosya.net/2022/09/28/new-ga ... ixote-16k/. I don't think there are any copyright issues or anything like that.

Perhaps Zosya Ent. was more convenient to keep track of the number of downloads, for some of their analytics... but since some time ago Zosya closed down - it makes little sense. However, some other Zosya Ent. games can be downloaded directly from SC, some - only via a link from the official site.
