I noticed today that Dawn Patrol (by Larry Horsfield) wasn't in the database.

It was the "demonstration adventure" that was originally published in 1992/1993, as a serialised tutorial forming part of THE S.U GUIDE TO PLAYING AND WRITING ADVENTURE GAMES in issues 129 - 132 of Sinclair User magazine. Written with the PAWs from Gilsoft.

As it was missing from the database, I followed the tutorial and "typed-in" a version of the game, which can be downloaded from:

http://8bitag.com/temp/dawnpatrol.tzx

I've fixed a few typos/mistakes in the listing as well as added some missing database entries so the program works. Aside from a message to indicate the source of the code (and an option to turn off the timer) no extra material has been added.

Publisher - Sinclair User, author - Larry Horsfield. Date of publication - 1992

Sounds interesting, thank you 8BitAG and so are those links at the bottom of your message. I really ought to try one of these adventure games. I got a bit turned off in the 80's by the ha hah not funny clues that nobody could ever work out EG:- Take the pair of shoots and jump off the cliff using your parachute. I forget which one that was in but it infuriated me so much i nearly chucked my Speccy across the room.
