1drv.ms is a temporary file location. today is - tomorrow is not. This is for those who really need and are interested.
The rest play on avirs and avasts - the best emulators.

13 out of 62 antiviruses found something. Suspicious. but they can't even agree on it. Who is in the forest - who is for firewood.
The paranoid keep using their lame free junk antivirus. I continue to use the emulator.

Sorry if I missed it but is there a trick to get this working on Windows 11. I can get it to load but it crashes constantly, well freezes and then crashes. tried Windows XP compatibility to no avail.

Is anyone having success with using a controller? Does SpecEmu only support d-input (I'm seeing dinput8.dll in its folder) or also x-input?
It doesn't seem to do anything with my xbox one s x-input controller. It is working in windows games and InkSpector.

@ZjoyKiLer Thank you very much for this.

I found that this Version of SpecEmu shows v.3.3 in the "Help / About SpecEmu"-Window:
Image
while the ChangeLog.txt show this as v3.4 build 09/06/23.

On first try I get corrupted display while using @bob_fossil´s NMI File Browser viewtopic.php?p=117678#p117678 latest beta version v025a1 (DivIDE-/NoMMC-Version). I have to try further if this is an issue with the File Browser itself or SpecEmu. More likely it´s an issue with the file browser as @Chris23235 discovered the same here: viewtopic.php?p=117747#p117747

Update:
Going back to "v0.24 Final" of Bobs NMI, it works. So it´s no issue with SpecEmui:

Yep. Sorry, it was a typo. Woody wrote 3.4 in the ChangeLog.txt by mistake, so I renamed the file because I thought he had made a mistake with the name. I have spoken to him and he confirmed it. I've already corrected it and also uploaded the real v3.4 he posted today.

As for the bug you mention, as you have already found out there is no such bug, and Woody says there is no bug.

I noticed that Pac-man mode is missing from the Tools menu. Is anyone else not seeing that?

Yes, indeed.
It's not too much of a loss, but it would be good to know what happened...

Ok, looks like v3.2 build from 25/03/23 is the last one containing Pacman mode in the Tools menu, which was first added in the v3.2 build from 25/10/21.
After that, from v3.3 build from 07/04/23, Pacman mode is no longer present.
Maybe one of the members who regularly visit Discord can ask what it is about?
Woody used to throw in some eastern eggs in SpecEmu from time to time, but this seems different...

Is there a way to contact the developer of SpecEmu? Input has some bugs and would be great an extra buttons remap on modern arcade joystick (e.g. Z assigned to 3rd button etc.)
