Rooster Run - Samurai Software

Hi.

I have finally got around to cataloging my Spectrum collection and have come across a game called Rooster Run by Samurai Software. The cover art looks distinctly home made and when I began researching it, I came up against a bit of a brick wall with nothing more than it exists and that's pretty much it. I just wondered if anybody had any further info on the game or the developer and whether I should attempt to back this up to a TZX file?

Any and all info gratefully appreciated.

Thanks

Seems like it's a MIA title. So yes, preserve it if you can!

You could either produce a .tzx file of the tape, or upload a .wav recording and someone can make a .tzx from that.

The cover and a few extra details are in the database...

...but not a copy of the game itself.

If you go to this page for one of their other games...
https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.p ... 96&id=6070

You can see some extra material, such as advertising for Rooster Run,..
https://archive.org/stream/08-big-k-mag ... 3/mode/1up
(listed as Amstrad-only at that point)

From the description on the advert and the screenshots from the CPC version, I see it's a Frogger clone. :)

Firstly, I'm loving your forum name!

Yes please to a TZX file. That would be great. Scans of the cover as well if you can. Thank you for sharing.
