Hi

A few more cover artists credited on the ZXDB through the Preservation Tools.

* ANGEL NIETO POLE 500 (Opera Soft, 1990). https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/2 ... o_Pole_500

- Cover art by JUAN CARLOS FERRIGNO as per signature on the cover. He is an Argentinian artist living in Spain since the late 80s. (https://jcferrigno.com/en/biography).

* COSA NOSTRA (Opera Soft, 1986). https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/1 ... osa_Nostra

- Cover art by LAUGI as per signature on the cover.

* NUCLEAR BOWLS (Zigurat Software, 1986). https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/3 ... lear_Bowls

- Cover art by DAVID SUEIRO as per signature on the cover.

* BRICK BREAKER (DRO Soft, 1987). https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/1 ... ck_Breaker

- Cover art by FRANCIS MORAGREGA as per signature on the cover.

* LA VENGANZA DE JOHNY COMOMOLO (DRO Soft, 1987). https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/1 ... y_Comomolo

- Cover art by FRANCIS MORAGREGA as per signature spotted on the bottom part of the cover and confirmed through Computer Emuzone website. https://computeremuzone.com/ficha/260/v ... y-comomolo

I have also credited ALFONSO AZPIRI as cover artist for two unreleased games: ZERO KELVIN and ALHAMBRA TALES because those covers exist and are included on the book AZPIRI: SPECTRUM published by Planeta DeAgostini Cómics in 2009. I can try to scan those covers if needed.

The Pawn

Long suspected this was another Steve Weston. Signature is only visible on the poster available at https://msmemorial.if-legends.org/games.htm/pawn.php.

This looks like a little "SW" on Cybernoid 2:

Great find @StooB!!. It looks like a "SW" for me too. What confuse me the most about this cover is the background art, those faces all over the cavern walls, it feels like a different painting techique, it's like a background made by another artist and some elements of the foreground made by Steve Weston (the Cybernoid spaceship and the logo), but after your find, now I think we can say for sure it's another Steve Weston cover.

This is one of the covers listed here: https://www.exotica.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=127

I think I used this source in the past to credit some covers, but I don't think is 100% reliable.

Thank you once again @StooB

Time Quest: E Jones
Per instructions

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/7 ... Time_Quest

Probably the SF artist Eddie Jones:

https://isfdb.org/cgi-bin/ea.cgi?1871

He did a similar frozen landscape with the exact same figure, reversed:

https://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/title.cgi?2355113

He also illustrated Dragon Star for Scorpio, as well (see below).

Hypertron: Eddie Jones

https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/entry/1 ... /Hypertron

It is the same as this book cover:

https://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/title.cgi?2023648

I am now pretty certain the E Jones of Time Quest, above, is Eddie Jones.

Hi

I think the artist is Rafael Estrada. On Computer Emuzone he's credited as R. ESTRADA on two other System 4 releases. Evaristo el Punky (https://computeremuzone.com/ficha/450/e ... c=spectrum) and Khazzad-Dum (https://computeremuzone.com/fichas/k/khazzad-dum.jpg). I would say the signature is the same as on Cerius.

I've found this website related to a Spanish comic book illustrator called Rafael Estrada http://www.antonioaltarriba.com/rafa-estrada/ and this is his website: https://rafaelestrada.jimdofree.com/. It's quite likely the same person. I will ask him by email and will report here later on.

We cross-posted. The signature on Evaristo el Punky and Khazzad-dum does look the same as Cerius and looks more like R Estrada.

Neither Evaristo el Punky or Khazzad-dum have artists listed in ZXDB.

Yes, some Spanish cover artists are still missing in ZXDB. In coming weeks I will try to find out more artists' names, especially from those lesser known software houses.
